The goal of this project was to design a hypothetical series where typography expresses, emphasizes or enhances the reading of a piece of language.

Out of a list of 3 sources of text, I chose to use selected lyrics from Laurie Anderson's 1982 album, Big Science.

Since this source of text is music-related, I took the opportunity to create a series of vinyls for two songs from the album, Let X = X and Example #22. The back cover of each vinyl contains the lyrics of the song referenced on the front.
